Let us introduce the dwarf form of the ever-popular Quick Fire hydrangea: Tiny Quick Fire® Panicle Hydrangea! Tiny Quick Fire® is the smallest, most versatile hydrangea that is perfect for planting around the border of your garden landscapes, or in drifts.

Like other Quick Fire varieties, this cute, compact shrub blooms early with showy, white flowers that age to an attractive red/pink. It also attracts pollinators, is drought tolerant, and can be planted in the landscape or containers gardens.

  • 1.5-3 feet tall and 2-3 feet wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 3-8, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part sun (4+ hours daily) in southern climates and part to full sun in northern climates
  • Space plants 2-3 feet apart for best results
  • Produces white flowers that age to shades of pink and red throughout summer
  • Maintains green foliage spring to frost
  • Blooms on new wood
  • Great for borders, containers, landscapes, hedges, cut or dried flowers
  • Dwarf variety, long blooming, early bloomer

Care:  Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. Prefers well-drained soil that does not remain soggy for any amount of time. To prune, simply cut back by one-third of its total height every spring, just as new growth begins to emerge on stems. Make cuts just about 1/4 of an inch above a bud. Dead or damaged wood can be removed at any time.

The plants look so healthy

The plants look so healthy. They are starting tiny little buds on them! Praying they survive the winter. My 2 Wee Bit Grumpy hydrangeas I got last year didn’t come back this year :(. Super sad about this. So, these are in their spot.

Best Custer Service Ever

I ordered a tiny quick fire hydrangea, and shipping was extremely fast. It came packaged well, but unfortunately a few limbs were broken.i contacted them, and they sent another one immediately. Their customer service is amazing, and I highly recommend them! Both of my hydrangeas already have new growth, and I can’t wait to watch them grow and bloom!

Thank you for sharing your experience! We always take care of our customers! Enjoy

Tiny Quick Fire® Panicle Hydrangea (paniculata)

Tiny Quick Fire Panicle Hydrangea arrived carefully packed and in great condition. It is a small plant, just what I ordered. I planted it in a raised bed. Sunflowers give it some shade for now. I will not plant sunflowers with it next year, as it will tolerate the full sun after a year's worth of root growth. There are no flowers yet, as I expect during the first year. I also ordered the Little Quick Fire Panicle Hydrangea to have the same beautiful plant that will be a little larger. I am hopeful they will make a beautiful display.

Thank you for your review! 😊

Plants were full and green. There were trim backs to help with shipping, but did not have an effect on their appearances.

I love ordering from Proven Winners. The Tiny Quick Fire came in looking a little wither. I repotted it in a pot and it’s still not looking good. I’m really hoping it livens up. Maybe I should have waited to order ?? Wish me luck with it.

Four Tiny Quick Fire hydrngs arrived yesterday via FedEx, perfectly packed, in perfect condition. What a concept! Rather than hunting around local nurseries for the specific plant/cultivar you want....order it from Proven Winners Direct. These four will be putting down roots by this weekend in a new garden. Thanks much for a great service and beautiful plants.

Thank you for sharing!! We're so happy to hear that you are enjoying your plants! :)

They sent me a beautiful tiny quick fire. It was shaped very nice, very healthy deep green leaves, and had been taken excellent care of prior to shipping. The packaging was well designed to keep the plant happy during transit and it withstood the traveling from Michigan to Ohio easily.

It’s now planted and I can’t wait for next season to see how it does.

Thank you for sharing!! Enjoy :)

Too early . Cannot be planted right now . Keeping in garage until
Safe to put outside . Looking forward to bloom time .

Vicki,
Thank you for sharing! If you live in a warmer climate (above freezing), all you have to do is plant the shrub, then feed and water it. Within a few weeks signs of life will return as your plant adjusts to the warm climate.

If you live in a cooler climate, keep the plant out of the elements by storing it inside your garage or home. Also, keep its soil moist until outside temperatures rise and your area is frost-free. Your average frost-free date can be found here farmersalmanac.com/average-frost-dates or by calling your local garden center. Then, plant it, feed it, and water it and you’ll be good to grow!

As always, please feel free to reach out to us at any time with any questions or concerns. We are happy to help!

First off since the plant was just recently purchased only time will tell.
My dealings with Proven Winers was something else in a wonderful way. My first plant came badly damaged . When I called the company to notify them the did the right thing and replaced. So far my replaced plant is very happy!
