Superbena® Red displays vigorous red flowers all season. With a mounding-trailing habit, they function as both spillers and fillers in combination planters and are best planted at the front of landscape beds. 

  • 6-12 inches tall and 18-24 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 8-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 10-14 inches apart for best results
  • Produces red flowers through planting to frost
  • Maintains green foliage planting through frost
  • Great for landscapes, groundcovers, containers, mass planting
  • Attracts butterflies and resists deer
  • Heat and drought tolerant, continuous bloomer, long blooming, fall interest, deadheading not necessary

I had a large order of verbena. These flowers do well-' even in Florida heat. Some have even survived from last year. I'm looking forward to a garden of mixed verbena later this spring.

Sadly, my plants I bought last Fall are not well. I water, feed, etc. and they look like this. Initially, they looked awesome except the deer nibbled them. As soon as it got hot, this started happening. I'm so bummed. I checked for bugs and only saw some pill bugs in the root area. I'm in East TX. zone 8b. Thank you, Michelle Boatright.
