  • 6-12 inches tall and 12-24 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 9-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 8-12 inches apart for best results
  • Produces purple and black flowers spring through frost
  • Maintains green foliage spring through frost

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Pruning is not necessary but will help increase branching and may help your plants look even fuller.

Calibrachoa do not like to have constantly damp soil because it can lead to root rot diseases. They will do well in the ground or raised beds with good drainage. For most gardeners containers are the best use for Calibrachoa, let the top few inches of soil dry before watering again.

The packaging was absolutely done beautifully. It would be nice if the carriers cared as much about your product as you do. Even though the box clearly shows which way is up ⬆️, the delivery person left it on my porch on it’s side. Because it was several hours before i got home from work, some of the plants were dislodged from their containers along with the potting mixture. Fortunately, i was able to repot them. After watering them and setting them upright they will be fine. The plants themselves were all very nice and healthy.

My order arrived in very poor condition. The top layer was very weak and the second layer was like slime. I kept the hopes they would all rebound and thrive. No such luck and I wasted money.

I ordered 20 different annuals from Proven Winners. My Superbells and Superbenas are not doing well. At first it was 2, then 2 more. I was able to get a replacement on the first 2 and a credit on the other 2. However, now 3 more died and I don’t want to keep bugging customer service. I am now wondering if it does not do well with my potting soil? Perhaps I need to find Proven Winners potting soil? I water these only as needed because we have been getting morning drizzle. My other Proven Winners annuals are thriving. I wanted to rate only one star, but the customer service has been excellent so I added another star.

I have planted 'Blackcurrant Punch' for two years in a row because it is so stunning. This plant is also quite vigorous (I'm in zone 8) and puts on a great display in my group of pots with other superbells and supertunias. You only have to mix and match the colors of these plants and you have a gorgeous, can't-go-wrong show of summer beauties. I will plant 'Blackcurrant Punch' next year too!
