Sugar Tip® Rose of Sharon is a striking semi-dwarf shrub known for its unique, brightly variegated foliage, featuring a beautiful mix of creamy-white and green. This eye-catching plant produces an abundance of clear pink, double flowers throughout the summer, creating a graceful color-on-color effect that enhances any landscape. Its compact size makes it perfect for smaller spaces, while its non-seeding nature ensures low-maintenance beauty. Sugar Tip® is an ideal choice for adding vibrant color and texture to gardens, all season long.

  • 5-6 feet tall and 4-6 feet wide at maturity

  • Space plants 5-8 feet apart for best results
  • Produces double pink flowers throughout summer
  • Maintains green and creamy-white variegated foliage spring to frost
  • Blooms on new wood
  • Great for landscapes, containers or as a focal point

Beautiful product!
Extremely healthy with buds.
After a 3 week period of letting them acclimate to the 9b climate I checked on their roots and they were overly root bond and more than ready for a larger pot. Extremely strong and healthy rooting. For my first time using “Proven Winners Direct “ I am very pleased.

Steong little plant. Potted with annuals in pot until she.gets big enough to survive squirrel chases

Please be sure there is enough room in the container for the shrub and Supertunias.

I ordered 4 different rose of Sharon they weren’t labeled so I don’t know which is which. They were real small one had some leaves and looked good one just a few leaves and the other 2 just stick. It’s like I was given 2 nice ones to make up the 2 that aren’t.
Thank you, Kathy

Home Depot has Proven Winners Sugar Tip for $29.98 that is twice the size of the plants I received. A local nursery has Proven Winners Sugar Tip for the same price and three times the size of the plants I received. I thought I'd get a better deal by buying directly from the seller, but I feel like I was shipped the plants that the bigger buyers rejected.

All plants I ordered looked good/seemed to travel well. Being in Arizona, the weather is perfect for Spring planting now.

The only unexpected thing is that I received a Rouge Paraplu Hibiscus instead of a Pink Chiffon Rose of Sharon. I planted the Rouge Paraplu anyway.

Thank you for sharing!! We're happy to hear you are enjoying your plants! I am sorry to hear that you received the wrong plant! Please reply to this email with a photo of the Rouge Paraplu Hibiscus and we would be happy to send you a Pink Chiffon Rose of Sharon!

Sugar Tip® Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus)

I have had a Sugar Tips Rose of Sharon in my garden for several years. Its branch structure, variegated leaves and the abundant and lovely shade of pink flowers are very striking. I attempted to add another to my garden last year but was shipped a mis-labeled plant that I believe to be White Chiffon. I have relocated it and so ordered another Sugar Tips. The plant is dormant so can’t truly know if it is as labeled but is well rooted and well branched.

Patricia,

Thank you for sharing!!

We're happy to hear you enjoy your shrub and the striking colors it provides in your garden :)

In addition, we are sorry to hear you might have received the incorrect plant in the past.

Once your purchased shrub blooms (and any time in the future), and it is incorrect, please directly email us photos of your shrub's current condition, as well as the sticker on the container. This way we can get the issue resolved for you!

The plant came in good health, but the packaging wasn't snug enough, so the root ball was dislodged and the soil was scattered. I've repacked the root ball, and hope that with time, the plant will recover. I'm looking forward to getting this into my landscape.

Sugar Tip® Rose of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus)

Was in good shape but....... Even though delivery box stated clearly to keep upright the driver left it on porch on it's side. Half of the potting soil had spilled out and dry so thinking it was that way on truck. Have not planted as yet due to our bad weather of late but the shrub is beautiful and growing loaded with leaves. Concerned with the stem making a "sharp turn" after seemingly straight up to that point. Love The Rose of Sharon and will continue to do business with PW. Had emailed PW days ago but so far no answer.

Thank you for sharing. We're sorry to hear this and happy to help! Please, respond to this email with a photo of their current condition.

The shipping was faster than I thought it would be and the plant arrived in great condition. I’m still getting the spot ready for it to be planted, so it’s still in its can, but the first bloom just opened and it is gorgeous! I can’t wait to see how it looks in the landscape in the years to come!
