Snowstorm Blue from Proven Winners displays abundant blue-purple flowers that grace trailing plants all season long. The spreading habit works as well in landscapes as it does containers. It attracts bees and is self-cleaning, so it does not need to be deadheaded unless desired.

  • 4-10 inches tall and 12-24 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 9-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part sun to sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 8-12 inches apart for best results
  • Produces abundant blue flowers from planting to hard frost
  • Maintains green trailing foliage spring to frost

  • Deadheading not necessary, long blooming, low maintenance

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Bacopa does not like to dry out in between waterings and will not wilt when drought-stressed like most plants. Before the plant shows signs of wilting it will drop both the flowers and the buds on the plant. It takes about 2 weeks for the plant to come back into bloom after it has been drought-stressed.

My bacopa was saturated with water and smelled rotten. I planted it and top dressed with Land and Sea compost. I am very sad to say that it died. I have reached out to proven winners and left a message. I am sure they will return my call. The costumer service is very good.

I love bacopas but sometimes have found them to be a bit fussy. These from PW Direct immediately adapted to their new home, a window box. They are beginning to tumble over the edges and are just lovely.
