Pegasus begonia from Proven Winners displays thick and deep green, glossy leaves with a silver overlay. It's beautiful as a mono container and makes an exceptional thriller in combination planters with other vigorous varieties. It's grown for foliage, adaptable as a houseplant, and is heat tolerant.

  • 12-18 inches tall and 16-18 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 9-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part to full shade] (4 or less hours daily)
  • Space plants 16-18 inches apart for best results
  • Produces pink flowers
  • Maintains green foliage splashed with silvery-white spring through frost

The Pegasus begonia arrived in a large 4” pot. It was small which surprised me and a little droopy/wimpy. I’m hoping it will perk up. All plants were packed beautifully and quickly shipped.

Oh so beautiful! Full, perfect plants and thriving even in Florida heat. Have them in pots in a shaded area on my lanai — I love the dark deep colors and purple hues!!! Want them everywhere I look!

This is the second year in a row I have bought annuals from PWD and then found them cheaper ($2 - 5 ea less locally). Condition at arrival is always poorer, especially with calibrachoa.
