The My Monet Purple Effect® is a delightful splash of color for any garden, with its variegated cream and mint green foliage that transitions to soft purple hues when bathed in sunlight. In late spring, delicate pink-purple flowers bloom, adding even more charm to this stunning shrub. The vibrant foliage lasts throughout the season and is resistant to deer, making it both beautiful and practical. Perfect as a colorful edging, in containers, or alongside perennials, the My Monet Purple Effect® brings a clean, fresh pop of color wherever you need it.

  • 1.5-2.5 feet tall and wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 4-6, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part sun to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 1.5-2.5 feet apart for best results
  • Maintains green, purple and white foliage spring through frost
  • Produces pink flowers in late spring
  • Blooms on old wood

2nd time purchasing so I do like this Weigela. Although the plants arrived losing leaves & brown leaves, but I know it had been very hot. I do hope they will begin their journey to look like the ones I already have in the ground; in the spring.

I ordered 3 plants and all came in very poor condition

I ordered 3 plants and all came in very poor condition. Dropping leaves and just very sad looking. I got them in the ground right away, watered them well and continued to do so. This was about a month ago. They have not died but neither have they improved. I am not convinced they are going to make it. Only time will tell. Very disappointed, not sure I would ever order from Proven Winners again.

Unfortunately I bought them in late August in spring Texas. We are experiencing drought and warm temperatures. When they arrived they looked pretty bad but the note said plant them and they will grow. No such luck. Perhaps I need to order in the fall to have a better chance of growth
