Customers praised these compact flowering shrubs as "beautiful and healthy" with attractive foliage that attracts hummingbirds. Most arrived well-packaged and thrived in various climates. However, shipping delays caused some plants to arrive dried out, and a few didn't survive harsh winter conditions or died shortly after planting despite proper care.

Unfortunately, all four plants arrived severely dried out and essentially dead after FedEx held the shipment in transit for nine days. Making matters worse, the Shop tracking app repeatedly said the package was “coming today” day after day, only for it not to arrive. By the time the plants were finally delivered, they were completely brown, crispy, and severely desiccated.

This appears to have been primarily a transportation failure rather than necessarily a reflection of the condition in which Proven Winners shipped the plants. However, the end result was still four unusable plants from a $159.96 order. I appreciate that Proven Winners addressed the issue, but I can only review the product as it actually arrived. Better intervention when a live-plant shipment is significantly delayed would hopefully prevent this from happening to other customers.

Chicklet® Orange Esperanza (Tecoma x)

I purchased three of these last year, along with 9 other shrubs and small trees and two out of the three of these were the only ones that didn't survive the winter. We're in zone 8b north Florida but we did have a freak ice storm in January so perhaps that accounts for the loss. They seemed healthy when they arrived and bloomed initially. They're pretty. If the surviving one keeps going I'll try to root cuttings.

The Peachy Keen Superbenas arrived looking really sad. In fact, one of them was crushed with broken limbs and leaves. I’ve opened a case with PW to let them know. We will see what happens.

Beautiful and very healthy plant !! Packed well. I was nervous about shipping from Michigan to West Texas but this plant is amazing . It lives this West Texas sun and already has more than 12 fully opened blooms ! Highly recommend this nursery!

The plants came quickly and while they are small they look very healthy and vigorous. Many were already blooming.
