Rockapulco® Tropical Shades is a vibrant, low-maintenance annual that features cheerful peach-orange blooms resembling miniature rosebuds, adding a pop of color to your garden all season long. This plant thrives in shady locations and, while it doesn’t require deadheading, you can trim it if desired for a tidier appearance. Rockapulco® Tropical Shades is happy when kept moist, so be sure not to let it dry out too much. Perfect for adding a splash of color in shaded areas, it’s a wonderful addition to containers, hanging baskets, and landscape beds, offering long-lasting beauty with minimal care.

  • 10-20 inches tall and 12-24 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 10-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part to full shade (4 or less hours of sun daily)
  • Space plants 10-12 inches apart for best results
  • Produces double peachy pink to deep orange flowers from planting to hard frost
  • Maintains green foliage spring to frost
  • Great for borders, containers, landscapes, mass planting
  • Long blooming, disease resistant, deadheading not necessary

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. They shouldn't need to be cut back, but you can trim to shape if desired. Don't let them dry out.
