Its striking flowers also attract hummingbirds, adding life and charm to your outdoor space. Enjoy long-lasting color and effortless beauty with this radiant and hummingbird-friendly variety.

  • 6-12 inches tall and 12-24 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 9-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 8-12 inches apart for best results
  • Produces double orange flowers from planting to hard frost
  • Maintains green foliage spring through frost
  • Great for containers and hanging baskets
  • Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds
  • Heat and drought tolerant, long blooming, fall interest, low maintenance, deadheading not required

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Pruning is not necessary but will help increase branching and may help your plants look even fuller.

Calibrachoa do not like to have constantly damp soil because it can lead to root rot diseases. They will do well in the ground or raised beds with good drainage. For most gardeners containers are the best use for Calibrachoa, let the top few inches of soil dry before watering again.

"Beautiful flowers" and "very healthy plants" that arrive blooming, though shipping challenges caused issues for some customers. Many praised the vibrant orange colors and hardy nature. However, concerns about plants arriving upside down with soil loss, plants being "shriveled and dry," and difficulty in dry climates were noted. Price was mentioned as high but quality generally satisfied shoppers.

Good Flowers-Terrible Handling During Shipping

Flowers seem to be starting to glow. However, all flowers arrived with most of the soil gone from the containers because the shipper had obviously turned the shipping box upside down several times during shipping.

I would more accurately give this zero stars. I ordered 6 for my cedar pots in my front beds. They are shriveled and dry. Eco-Grande size? No. They seemed to have been popped out of a six pack and into the larger pots immediately before shipping. The soil fell away to reveal the little rectangular roots from the starter cells. I am quite livid. Don’t believe I will be ordering from Proven Winners again.

I’m sad and I tried to save them but the plants arrived upside down and buried in the potting mix. Completely dried out. It was for 2 day shipping but FedEx doesn’t deliver on the weekend so they sat for extra days until Monday. The pamphlet that arrives with flowers guilted me into keeping them because it stated that customers need to give them a chance to recover and that plants that were sent back to them were able to be revived. I tried to save mine but only 1 survived. I’m very disappointed and discouraged to purchase again.

It was my first time ordering from Proven Winners and this was the first plant that I really wanted of the 16 others that I ordered. This was the only one that came to me broken and hardly alive. There is still some green on the plant, so I am hoping it will rally. But it is sad that it was this one plant that was the very first on my order list and the one that made me even look at the website to being with. The others seem to be doing alright.

Thank you for sharing. We're sorry to hear this regarding your one plant and are happy to help! Please respond to this email with photos of its current conditions, and we can further assist you

I'm disappointed in myself. I live in WI so I should have known better. I wanted to replace my pretty pink flowers in pots for fall colored flowers. I ordered the Superbells® Double Orange (Calibrachoa) and the purple superbells. The double orange died 2 days after arriving and the purple are limping along. I don't know what I was thinking...annuals that are shipped in fall are not going to be full and lush for display in Sept. even if the temperatures are above normal. I guess I'll have to stick with mums. I've learned my lesson, it's all about timing.

Loved all the orange colors because they match the beige tones in the exterior colors of my home. I'm hoping since they have survived summer they will hang on until the first frost probably next month.

Eleanor,

It is exciting to Open a package in bloom and love the bright colors! This was added with other plants to a big pot of multi colors. I am so glad that I could order these plants. I live an hour away from a plant store that sells proven winners and they never have what I want….so this is a perfect answer!
