Rockin'® Deep Purple (Salvia) has dark purple flowers each with a black calyx. It is sterile so it will not set seed and that means it will just bloom, and bloom and bloom all season without stopping. This plant is a pollinator-attracting machine and resists deer. It is also heat and drought-tolerant once established. 

  • 24-36 inches tall and wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 9-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 18-24 inches apart for best results
  • Produces purple flowers from planting to hard frost
  • Maintains deep green foliage from spring to frost
  • Great for borders, containers, landscapes, and mass planting
  • Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds while resisting deer
  • Heat and drought tolerant, continuous blooming, long blooming, deadheading not necessary

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. You can easily trim to keep the shape or size, and it will branch out and become even thicker and more full of flowers.
