Invincibelle® Spirit II Smooth Hydrangea (arborescens)

This is the fourth summer I have had these in the ground, and the second summer in their current location. I moved them three times in order to find a location they liked, which ultimately is on the northeast side of my home as a foundation planting alongside my wrap-around porch. . They only get morning sun, which they seem to appreciate in our hot and humid southern summers and the cement porch seems beneficial towards keeping a cooler microclimate. Care-wise, I cut them back dramatically when they were first planted (and transplanted) and then watered them in very well with a drip hose. I cut them back in early spring and in both fall and spring I top dressed them with compost. I also keep them well mulched. Now that I have found a good location for them they are doing very well and the blooms are incredible. I can’t bring myself to cut them because they just look so pretty on the plant. I’ve had no trouble with these that wasn’t a factor of my own learning curve, and they recovered well from every move. I would definitely buy them again if I wanted a hydrangea this size.

I was very surprised when I opened the package of the Invincibelle Spirit II Hydrangeas that I ordered, I didn't expect such large plants with many blooms!! They are just beautiful. Plants were very healthy and arrived very quickly. When I had questions when placing my order, their customer service was very helpful in getting the "special" pricing adjusted and working through my Ohio tax holiday issues. I would definitely order from Proven Winners in the future.

The plants arrived on time. In excellent condition. Very healthy plants. There were 6 of them. Can’t wait till next summer to see there beautiful blooms.

I received my shipment quickly and packaging was superior. The plants are beautiful dark green leaves and gorgeous blooms. Very pleased with my purchase and will continue to purchase more to complete a beautiful flowering hedge.

5 of the plants will probably make it. One of them with one only viable stem and nothing else was black I will be shocked if it survives

I will never again buy online, the flimsy packaging was crushed . I’m so disappointed. The plant came with little leaves ,bent and sad looking. I hope the hydrangeas survives I sent an email but no response. Lesson learned never buy plants unless you see them and pick them up yourself.

The 6 hydrangeas I ordered came packaged with little to no protection. 4 of them jammed into one box! The majority of them looked like they had been drop-kicked off a climb. They had many broken limbs & leaves. I reached out to Proven Winners 3 days ago so far work no response back. I spent too much money with this company to experience this lack of care from them!! I've been patiently waiting for a response back with a resolution but my patience is not eternal.

Prompt shipping, well packaged, and all 6 shrubs are doing well!

Delivery as expected. Lovely, lush plants with healthy leaves and promising flowers. Very pleased with these plants.

The plants are good and starting to form new growth at this time. In a couple years we will have a beautiful shrub row.
Multiple boxes came mangled with majority of growth broken off but root structure on all plants undamaged. Also deceiver left all boxes in the sun not shade. Maybe that is a suggestion for future delivery partners. I did receive one wrong color, I ordered all shades of red/pink and I have a white bush. Plants are good though so I’m happy.

It is looking very healthy and even bloomed. I debated whether I should clip the buds so it could put it’s strength in the roots.

The plants are beautiful even tho FedEx was tough on them as far as tumbling the dirt out. Your packaging was superior with the rubber banding at the base so I repacked & added dirt and am hoping all will be well in a few days.

Excellent. Shipped very quickly, and I was surprised by how large and healthy the plants looked. Better than if I bought from a nursery! Also, they are all budded up and transplanted beautifully. I will absolutely purchase from PWD again!

I purchased these in October 2020 and wintered them over in my garage. I got a quart 4 pack and all 4 decided to bud over winter in our 20-30 degree garage. Once temperatures got low enough they gave up and went dormant. I pulled them out of the garage 2 weeks ago and all but 1 has decided to throw out an insane amount of new growth! I’m thinking I need to replace the one that hasn’t come back yet. I have to keep the balance in my garden haha

the first shipment never showed up - the replacement order showed up minus the auger. The replacement auger still has not shown up. But I still placed another order today for a Rose of Sharon.

The plant arrived in great condition, just a small broken branch. How nice to have it in full bloom to brighten the fading fall garden. Always hard to find a wide variety of hydrangeas around here, so nice to know I can order what I really want.

I received these hydrangeas in record time! The shipping was fast and the plants look healthy. The auger that I received looks too small to plant them but maybe could be used for something else. Have seen bad reviews on this plants performance and disease risistence so I cannot speak to that until next season.
