Probably my favorite perennial last year. It started to bloom in may here in Ohio and bloomed for awhile. Then plant looked healthy without powdery mildew or insect damage. I planted it near the deer pass but they never nimb on it. This year, it's coming back even stronger and bigger. Absolutely beautiful, vibrant color.

Stunning!! 😍

Beautiful Salvias

I was nervous about ordering plants through the mail. I didn’t want a “root”. Much to my pleasure, the plants had some maturity, they were healthy and starting to bloom!

We're so glad to hear that you were pleased with your purchase of our Color Spires® 'Back to the Fuchsia' Perennial Salvia! Thank you for choosing us! Happy planting!

Ordered 3 of the salvia. They arrived very wet and the leaves were slimy and half dead. One was even moldy. I planted them anyway and gave them the benefit of the doubt. The one in the worst shape has now died, five weeks after delivery. The other two are struggling and will probably die as well. I expected much better plants from PW.

Robin,

Thank you for sharing!

I have pictures but idk how to upload them. I guess the plant was shocked by our mega humid zone 9b. How I wish it had made it. Probably should be more pf a zone 8.

Thank you for sharing! We're sorry to see they arrived in these conditions. We're happy to replace if you wish. :) Please, respond to this email and let us know which works best for you!

I ordered 4 Back to Fuschia Salvia. All arrived in excellent condition. All died 3 days after planting. This is the first time that I had a negative experience with PWD plants. I have no idea what happened.

Wanda,

This plant is doing so well and performed better than I had hoped. It filled out nicely early in the season and its beauty lasted well into fall.

Jena, Thank you for sharing your experience!! Sounds like you made a fabulous choice. :)

So far, it's doing well in the garden. Can't wait for a little later in the growing season to see how it performs.
