Funyella™ Clematis isn't your average climber. From spring to midsummer, its bell-shaped blooms nod on the vines and give off a crisp grapefruit scent. Its little flowers have pointed petals and two-toned yellow and pink coloring, made even more interesting by burgundy stems. It’s good for pergolas, mailbox posts, and twisting up through shrubs in the border. No need to tear it down each year, as it blooms on old wood. You can let it grow through your garden on its own, creating fun new flower pairings as it goes.
- 6-10 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide at maturity
- Grow in zones 4-9
- Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
Our deciduous shrubs are entering their natural dormancy phase. As part of this process, foliage is turning colors, drying out, and falling off—this is completely normal! Shedding leaves helps the plants conserve energy and prepare for the next growing season. Rest assured, your shrubs will wake up and thrive again when it's time in your growing zone. Dormancy is how they prepare for a healthy, vibrant comeback as the seasons change!
Care: No need to tear it down each year, as it blooms on old wood. Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer.
