Please Note: Our plants are currently shipping dormant. During dormancy, plants go inactive to conserve energy for the next growing season.

Brimming with color, Tuff Stuff Top Fun® hydrangea’s bold lacecap blooms are supported by bright burgundy stems. Each flower is filled with cheery green fertile florets at the center and purple or pink infertile florets around the edges. So inviting to pollinators and quite a lovely cut for florists. And these flowers just keep coming all summer long, first on old wood and later on new wood.

  • 2-3 feet tall and wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 4-9, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 2-3 feet apart for best results
  • Produces green center florets and surrounding colorful pink, purple, or blue flowers depending on soil chemistry throughout summer and into fall
  • Maintains dark blue-green foliage that takes on shades of burgundy in late summer
  • Great for borders, containers, cut flowers, landscape, focal points
  • Attracts bees and butterflies
  • Heat tolerant, salt tolerant, foliage interest, rebloomer

Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant food in spring and mid-summer. Tuff Stuff hydrangeas should not be pruned except to remove any dead wood in spring, after the new growth begins to emerge on the stems.
