Anna's Magic Ball is a cute little sphere of cheerful yellow foliage. This nifty little native evergreen needs no pruning to keep its tight, rounded shape and makes a nice addition to perennial beds, rock gardens, troughs, and containers, or any landscape project. Don't let it's tiny size fool you- this girl is a showstopper!

2-3 feet tall and 3-4 feet wide at maturity
Grow in zones 3-8
Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)

Care: It prefers deep, well-drained soils. Little pruning is needed but can be trimmed in early summer if desired. Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food each spring.

These tiny little quart sized Arborvite arrived in the mail in good condition. After one week, I planted in the ground in my front flower bed, and they are doing great. I think they may have grown 1/2 inch. One of the 4 was not doing so great from the first time I opened the plant box. But after placing in the ground, it has done a complete turn around. You can not tell it from the rest. All is doing fantastic and I love the way they feel and the yellow color is the icing on the cake. It's going to be beautiful over the next few years. I can't hardly wait. Love Proven Winners Direct!

Adorable!

I ordered 9 of these in the quart size and planted them in my south facing lawn in Kentucky 7a where we have clay soil. The plants came looking in perfect condition. The color is a bright chartreuse and looks so cheerful against my brick house. In my second photo, they are the small bright green plants between the coral bells, which I just planted from 0.65 gallon containers also purchased on this site. They looked very healthy, but the roots only went about halfway down the container, which in a quart size shrub is a little scary. That aspect made me wish I had sprung for the gallon size. Nonetheless, they seem to be doing well and I’m excited to see them grow!!
