If you’ve appreciated the vigor of Supertunia Vista® Jazzberry®, you’ll love Cool Jazz™ for its soft orchid pink blooms and equally robust growth. This variety forms a large, upright-spreading mound that becomes completely covered in flowers from planting through frost—no deadheading required.

Its cooler tone pairs beautifully with pastels, purples, and whites, making it a versatile choice for landscapes, large containers, and hanging baskets. Like all Vista® petunias, it’s ideal for filling space quickly with long-lasting, low-maintenance color.

  • 12-24 inches tall and 24-36 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 10-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 18-32 inches apart for best results

I planted Vista Cool Jazz alongside Bubblegum, Paradise, and other Vista varieties this season and it holds its own in that company. The color is a soft lavender with darker veining that reads calm and elegant next to the louder pinks, which makes it the perfect anchor for a mixed Vista bed. Same Vista genetics, same performance: fast to establish, mounds and spreads quickly, and stays covered in bloom with no gaps between flushes. If you already grow the pink Vistas, add this one for contrast.

The newest vista for the win!

Cool jazz is a performer! I love the cool tone purple with a hint of pink. It’s vigorous, blooms prolifically, and lives up to the vista series of Supertunia! I’m most impressed by its ability to make it to mid-late July in zone 8b. Petunias do not love humidity and it is still rocking it out.

I love this plant

I was not sure how I would like the new color but I love jazzberry so ordered it. You have to see this one in person to fully understand just how beautiful it is. I have not been able to plant it yet because of the weather so it is still in the PW pot but in the few days I have had it, it has doubled in size so I know it has the vigor of jazzberry.
