Supertunia® Tiara Blue has beautiful deep purple/blue flowers with a light purple center that are vigorous with slightly mounded habits that function as both fillers and spillers in containers. They are also excellent landscape plants, best suited to be placed near the front of beds. This award winner is heat and drought tolerant, attracts pollinators, and does not need to be deadheaded.

  • 4-12 inches tall and 18-24 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 10-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 12-24 inches apart for best results
  • Produces vivid violet blue flowers with a white center through hard frost
  • Maintains green foliage spring through frost
  • Great for containers, edges, groundcover, landscapes and mass planting
  • Attracts bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds
  • Heat tolerant, continuous bloomer, long blooming, deadheading not necessary

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Give a light trim anytime you think it's needed or at least once in July and once in August. Never trim off more than 20% of the branches.

Came alive and healthy! They are small but growing fast

Came alive and healthy! They are small, gave them a nice trim and transplanted, now it’s taking off! This one is growing much faster than the bumble gum, fushia and silver white.

The plants were so small compared to the previous year

The plants were so small compared to the previous year. I’m not sure I will order again. The year before they were gorgeous coming out of the box.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We apologize that the Supertunia® Blue Tiara™ Petunias were smaller than expected. Please email us at HelpDesk@ProvenWinnersDirect.com with photos so we can assist you further. We are happy to help!

Excellent quality, and shipped fast! Arrived alive and blooming, dispite traveling through nighttime temperatures as low as 21°. They are now safe in Colorado thriving on my flood tables in my heated greenhouse, hanging out until springtime!

Received plants when I opened them they had bugs that flew out, very tiny . Reached out with no results twice. Pretty disappointed. I have ordered many times before not sure I will again, plants are poorly and sad. Already sent photos

Hi Carolann,

Thank you for sharing your review of your Supertunia Tiara™ Blue Petunias. Apologies that you have not received any of our previous emails! Sometimes our emails can end up in the spam folder.

Since they were black bugs, then they are gnats and not aphids. The gnats will not cause any damage to your plants. Let us know if you have any questions! :)

Sincerely,
PWD Team

The blooms are beautiful and the plant filled in very quickly. I paired it with a boldly white geranium and the two plants filled a 20 inch pot nicely.

This deep color is enchanting. Gorgeous color. The name they chose for this one fits it perfectly. I paired it with sweet caroline sweetheart lime sweet potato vine and it just pops!

Needs better shipping practice, the plants are not secured well enough. They arrived with soil all out of the pots and broken pots.
