Its semi-evergreen nature offers year-round interest, while its deer-resistant trait ensures long-lasting beauty. Truly a "must-have" in any garden. 

  • 1.5-2 feet tall and wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 6-8, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 1.5-2 feet apart for best results
  • Maintains a tidy, round habit of deep purple to black foliage year-round
  • Produces yellow blooms in the spring followed by decorative berries in the fall

Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. Prefers well-drained soil. If desired, prune to shape in summer.
