  • 30-36 inches tall and 42-48 inches wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 4-9, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 42-48 inches apart for best results
  • Produces pure white flowers starting in midsummer through fall
  • Maintains matte black foliage late spring to frost
  • Great for borders, landscapes and focal point
  • Attracts butterflies while resisting deer
  • Long blooming, fall interest, native to North America

Care: Hibiscus love the sun and need moist, well-drained soil. Keeping these plants watered will result in larger flowers and lush foliage. Deadheading will improve the appearance of the plant, but is not necessary for continued bloom. It is best to plant Hibiscus in the garden before the heat of the summer arrives, and should be heavily mulched the first winter. In spring, cut back any remaining stems before new growth appears. Do not trim back in fall. A strong pair of loppers or a saw will be necessary to cut this plant back. Be advised that Hibiscus is always one of the last perennials to emerge in spring. Be patient, even if you think it is dead, it most likely isn't. Its vigorous growth rate more than makes up for this late start, however. Japanese beetles find these plants especially delicious. Fertilize with Proven Winners® Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and midsummer.

This Rose Mallow produces beautiful flowers when established, though customers reported significant shipping issues. Many plants arrived with dried, fallen leaves and broken branches due to poor packaging. Those who persevered saw blooms, but several noted high cost relative to size and root development.

Plant received was not in good condition at all

Plant received had all it's leaves dried, crumbled, crisp and falling off. The soil was bone dry. I gave it a good soak and am hoping for the best, but it's not looking to good right now.

We're sorry to hear about the condition of your plant. Please send us some pictures at HelpDesk@ProvenWinnersDirect.com so we can assist you further.😊🌺

Poorly packaged. Broken branches. Brown. I cut off all the broken parts and brown stems/leaves. I was left with a giant rootball (2 gallon) and what looks like a 4in plant growth. Hoping it will come back. Sad because I was most excited for this plant. Also I bought a big size because of that.
