Building on the strengths of the original Summer Wine®, including richly colored foliage, excellent mildew resistance, and dependable performance, but this selection also offers soft pink buds, blooms, and seed capsules. In spring, arching branches are lined with fresh pink flowers that contrast beautifully with the deep purple foliage and attract abundant native pollinators. As a native, it’s highly adaptable to a wide range of soils and shows strong drought tolerance once established. In containers, Summer Wine Rosé flowers prolifically and maintains a neat, tidy habit

Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. Regular pruning is not necessary. If any shaping is desired, do so just after the plant has flowered in the spring.
