Should the plants in your garden be ornamental or useful? Why not both! With Splendid!® Blue highbush blueberry, you get a handsome landscape plant with a rounded habit and dusty light blue foliage. That view is joined by an impressive show of tiny white, bell-shaped blooms in the spring. Later on, those flowers turn to extremely tasty fruit, even if there isn’t a compatible pollinator plant nearby. But note that you will definitely get a heavier fruit set if you plant another highbush blueberry nearby.

Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid summer. Will get its brightest foliage color when planted in full sun. It benefits from rejuvenation pruning. After it has been planted in the landscape for 4-6 years you can start removing the oldest stems each year in the springtime. Please note: Though Splendid! Blue blueberry is an ornamental variety, it will set some fruit on its own. For larger, more abundant fruit, plant with another highbush blueberry.
