With a cool, pink-purple hue, Soprano® Violet Shades Impatiens is an exciting new color you’ll want to add to your part sun to shade areas. With increased disease resistance, your garden will be overflowing with a breathtaking display of low-maintenance, violet blooms. As fantastic landscape and container plants, just be sure to keep the soil consistently moist and you will enjoy these lovely flowers all season long. 

  • 10-15 inches tall and 12-24 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 10-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part to full shade (4 or less hours daily)
  • Space plants 8-10 inches apart for best results
  • Produces violet-purple flowers from planting to frost
  • Maintains green foliage spring to frost
  • Great for borders, containers, edging, groundcover, landscapes, mass planting
  • Heat tolerant, disease resistant, deadheading not necessary, long blooming

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. They shouldn't need to be cut back, but you can trim to shape if desired. Don't let them dry out.

My Soprano Violet Shades impatiens are beautiful. They are large and full - wish I had bought a few more. They are in window boxes on my shed which is a very shady wet area and they seem to love it. Prior to planting them in the window boxes, they sat in their nursery cans in a more sunny spot on my deck. They held up well. If they dropped from not enough water, they perked right back up when I watered them. I am very pleased. They are a beautiful bright spot in a shady corner of my yard.
