I don't think this plant will make it. This came with several other smaller plants in four inch pots. They look like they were well grown, then just tossed into a box together. When they arrived, (sitting in the sun, because I won't download an app to get package tracking)there was just a soggy mess of soil, broken pots, and plants, all mixed up. Ironically, this plant was potbound and bone dry. Tough as chast trees are, I doubt it will pull through. All the leaves were burned off, and it isn't regrowing them.
Thank you for sharing your reviews of your Rock Steady™ Chastetree and Kodiak Jet Black™ (Diervilla hybrid). We're sorry to hear this and are happy to help! Please reply to this email with photos of the plants and we can further assist you.

I moved it up to a gallon sized pot, hoping it will spread some roots out before putting it in the ground in September. It's pushing some new growth already and I have high expectations.
Very healthy. Excited about this one that I haven’t seen elsewhere. Deer haven’t been interested, and they’ll usually try everything.
