Despite the name, 'Blood, Sweat and Tears' Daylily won’t require any of those things to bring stunning color to your garden! These massive 6-inch blooms explode in red and yellow tones, evoking a carefree, tropical feel wherever you plant them. With a medium height, they’re an ideal choice for the center or front of your flower beds, attracting bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds while leaving the rabbits unimpressed. A garden favorite that practically takes care of itself, 'Blood, Sweat and Tears' is sure to leave your guests (and you) in awe!

  • 28 inches tall and 18-24 inches wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 3-9, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 18-24 inches apart for best results
  • Produces rosy red flowers with yellow center throughout summer
  • Maintains green foliage spring to frost
  • Great for borders, landscapes, mass planting and as a focal point
  • Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds while resisting rabbits
  • Salt tolerant, continuous bloomer, erosion control

Care: Daylilies are tough, adaptable perennials that will grow in almost any soil from dry to moist and sand to clay. Though they will survive in part shade, plant them in full sun for optimum flowering performance. Fertilize with Proven Winners® Continuous Release Fertilizer in spring.
