Perfecto Mundo Epic Pink® is a neat, rounded evergreen shrub that's blanketed with gigantic pink blooms in spring, but then after a brief rest, begins blooming again in mid-summer and continues through frost. It is resistant to lace bug, a pest that can be problematic in certain areas. Take a look at the range of other incredible colors in the reblooming azalea series!
Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. Prune or trim after spring bloom to encourage new growth and more abundant rebloom.
A note on hardiness: Perfecto Mundo Epic Pink® azalea is hardy to USDA zone 6b, and is better suited to milder coastal areas of zone 6b than harsh Midwestern sites. If you wish to plant it in zone 6b, select a protected location and mulch well. Do not fertilize after mid-July in these areas. If you do wish to fertilize, do so in early spring, just as the new growth begins to emerge, and then again after the spring bloom is complete.
