  • 1-1.5 feet tall and 1-1.5 feet wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 4-8, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 1-1.5 feet apart for best results
  • Produces pink flowers in waves from spring through summer
  • Maintains glossy green foliage in spring that shifts to blazing orange and red in summer and into fall

Midnight Sun Wegeila is a wonderful plant. They have beautiful multi- colored maroon, green and blue leaves. Of great importance to me is the fact that they are deer resistant. They grow quickly although r reach only about 3 feet tall. A massing of them makes a lovely border for the front of a larger bed. The ones I received from Proven Winners were very healthy. A great new version of a very versatile variety of plants.

This is the first time I have ordered plants online. I was skeptical but the reviews I read on the Proven Winners website were good so I decided to try it. My plants arrived in a timely manner but I knew from looking at the box it might not be good. The box had definitely been damaged and repackaged by the carrier and not repacked very good. Some of the plants were upside down and a lot of the soil had been displaced. Some of the plants had some broken limbs, but on a positive note I don’t think the damage will affect the plants. Only time will tell. My first experience with ordering plants on online has not been so good, not sure I’ll do it again.
