Incrediball® Smooth Hydrangea is a stunning native shrub that captivates with its impressive, basketball-sized blooms. Starting as delicate green buds, the blossoms quickly transform into pure white, then gradually mature into a rich, jade green hue. Its strong, sturdy stems provide reliable support, ensuring the blooms remain upright without flopping, making it an easy-to-grow addition to any garden. Ideal for creating a striking hedge or as a focal point, this hydrangea also excels as a cut or dried flower, bringing beauty and elegance to both your garden and floral arrangements.

  • 4-5 feet tall and wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 3-8, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part to full sun in northern climates and part sun (4+ hours daily) in southern climates.
  • Space plants 4-5 feet apart for best results
  • Produces white flowers throughout summer that age to jade green in fall
  • Maintains green foliage spring to frost
  • Blooms on new wood
  • Great for borders, hedges, landscapes, cut and dried flowers
  • Native to North America, salt tolerant, fall interest

Care:  Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. Prefers well-drained soil that does not remain soggy for any amount of time. To prune, simply cut back by one-third of its total height every spring, just as new growth begins to emerge on stems. Make cuts just about 1/4 of an inch above a bud. Dead or damaged wood can be removed at any time.

Plants arrived in good condition

Plants arrived in good condition and the soil had not dried. The plants remained in pots placed in partial Sun (two hours a day) and watered to keep soil damp (daily heat in the mid nineties). New growth was evident within a week. Plants went in the ground when the heat broke. Plants are vigorous and healthy.

Frustrated

I know this is a wonderful brand. But I was extremely disappointed with the size of the plants shipped to me. Very small. And scraggly. I paid quite a bit for the four plants. I ended up going to a Nursery and buying your same brand, for just for just $10 more per pot. To be honest, the plants were 2 1/2 feet tall. I will keep these small plants and hope they survive shipped by you to me, but frankly, I will undoubtedly not purchase from you again.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re sorry to hear the plants didn’t meet your expectations. Please reach out to us at HelpDesk@ProvenWinnersDirect.com and we can provide you with replacements or store credit.😊

Plants damaged in shipping

The Incrediball plants arrived in poor shape due to damage during shipping. On of the plants was upside down and they all had broken stems. I have planted them and hoping for the best.

Looking forward to how they'll fill the space they're in! Haven't had them long

Looking forward to how they'll fill the space they're in! Haven't had them long, but they've grown and a couple already have small blooms coming. They arrived in good shape!

I ordered 1 quart of several hydrangeas —tiny as expected but very healthy. Planted them right away, and now they are growing well and thriving. I’m so happy with my hydrangeas and plan to order more plants from PWD.Oh, and they also arrived well-packaged

Beautiful and thriving!! Thank you for sharing your photos with us!

I just received my plants. The four plants were in one box. Looks like FedEx must have had them upside down, some were broken. The rose plant was in one box and was perfect.

Thank you for sharing your review of your plants. If they do not end up doing well, please respond to this email with updated photos of their conditions and we would be happy to help!

My hydrangeas came looking very dry and tired. Even though I was able to get them watered quickly and in the ground within an hour they have struggled to bounce back. I think in the long wrong they'll be fine. They are starting to form some buds

All hydrangeas arrived in good shape. Watered them well. Since the weather turned cold, we didn't plant them for a couple of days. Instead, let them sit in the sun during the day and then brought them indoors at night. Now in the ground and doing well.

Thank you for sharing! Enjoy 😊

Belonged on Clearance at Lowes

Plant looked dry with dead limbs coming from Crown. Watered immediately. There are a few leaves coming out after 1 week. However, if I wanted to nurse a plant I'd go to Lowes clearance. Very dissatisfied. For the price & Proven Winner reputation this is no good.

Arrived in poor condition it was not the shippers fault

Arrived in poor condition it was not the shippers fault. FedEx really handled the box like it was trash. It was kicked in and upside down. I was not home to get appropriate pictures. My husband unpacked it and didn’t get pictures. I was able to salvage them and I beer new growth. Shipper packaged them very well and that helped.

Do these attract bees or wasps? I have children that are afraid of those insects.Would you suggest a variety that bees dont flock to or a color suggestion.
