Mesmerized is a fancy-leaf variety with contrasting colors in green, chartreuse and orange-red. Due to its stature, it makes an excellent border to intermediate plant in the landscape and a thriller in containers. Caladiums are also generally considered to be houseplants where they prefer bright light or a sunny window.

15-20 inches tall and 10-14 inches wide at maturity
Annual except in zones 10-11, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
Plant in sun or shade
Space plants 10-14 inches apart for best results
Produces white (spadix) flowers during rare
Maintains chartreuse-orange red foliage spring to frost
Great for gifting, indoor decoration, bright spaces, borders, containers, combinations, landscapes, mass plantings
Adaptable as a houseplant, foliage interest, heat tolerant, shade tolerant, deadheading not necessary

Care: Outdoor: If you live in a northern climate, be careful not to plant too early in spring as temperatures below 60 degrees F will chill and stunt plants. Caladiums like to be moist at all times so avoid allowing them to dry out. Fertilize with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food at ¼ - ½ strength every week throughout the season. Indoor: Caladiums can also be grown as houseplants where they prefer bright light or a sunny window. Keep the temperatures above 65 degrees F for best growth and leaf size, and keep the humidity up around your plants.
