Festival Star® Hardy Baby's Breath boasts an impressive blooming season from May through October. Its densely branched and cloud-like appearance makes for a gorgeous addition to any landscape, container, or even floral arrangements. It is also good used as a cut or dried flower. Be sure to plant in a full sun area, as this little beauty loves all the sunshine it can get. It also attracts butterflies, and resists deer.
Our perennial plants are entering their natural dormancy phase. As part of this process, foliage and blooms are browning and dying back—this is completely normal! We give the plants a hard trim in our greenhouse to support them as they conserve energy for the next growing season. Rest assured, your perennials will wake up and thrive again when it's time in your growing zone. Dormancy is how they prepare for a healthy, vibrant comeback as the seasons change!
Care: It should continue to bloom without deadheading but removing old blooms may encourage additional blooming. With any Baby's Breath the more you use as a cut flower the more the plant branches and reblooms. Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring.
