Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid summer. Pruning isn’t necessary for the plant’s health, but for appearances’ sake you can shape it in early spring. Fun fact: Though you wouldn't guess it by looking at it, spirea is closely related to roses and raspberries.
