Decadence® Deluxe Pink Truffles is a tightly packed false indigo comprised of strong, light green stems that carry soft pink flowers atop them. As the flowers age they will lighten to a lavender shade.

  • 48-54 inches tall and 36-48 inches wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 4-9, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part sun to sun (4+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 36-48 inches apart for best results
  • Produces soft pink flowers in late spring
  • Maintains deep blue-green foliage spring to frost
  • Great for borders, cut flowers, dried flowers, landscapes, and as a focal point
  • Attracts bees, butterflies and resists deer
  • Native to North America, drought tolerant, salt tolerant, deadheading not necessary, fall interest

Care: Grows best in full sun and average to poor, well-drained soil. Moderately drought tolerant once established. Very long-lived perennial.

"Pink" Truffles Baptisia

Plant arrived healthy and in good shape however, a little disappointed in bloom color. The plant bloomed pale yellow vs pink. I bought the same PW plant last year from a big box store's garden area and it bloomed true to picture color. The plant I received reminds me of the pink lemonade colored baptisia. We'll see what next year brings with the bloom color.

Thank you for your review! Decadence® Deluxe 'Pink Truffles' False Indigo does have some yellow in the coloring, so this is normal. If it does not bloom mostly pink next season, please let us know.

I ordered 3 different colors for around our home

I ordered 3 different colors for around our home.The plants were in beautiful condition upon arrival. They have transplanted very well. From what I read I will not see any flowers this year. But the plant itself is beautiful green. They are a wonderful addition to our flower beds and they are deer proof! Deer are a big problem in my neighborhood and to find a plant that is of no interest to the deer has been a great find.

Gorgeous Plant!

I just planted them and I know (from seeing them on the Garden Answer YouTube channel) that they will be magnificent in about 3 years. Can't wait!! They arrived in great condition since they were packed very well.
