This show-stopping perennial isn’t here to blend in; she’s here to turn heads with her oversized, lavender-blue blooms that are twice the size of your average catmint. Each long, graceful panicle keeps the color going strong, stretching the bloom season like a true professional on the runway. Thick, textured leaves add luxe appeal, all perched on a compact, sturdy frame that won’t flop under pressure (a true queen never does).

Whether she’s strutting her stuff at the front of the border or soaking up the sun in hot, dry spots, 'Catwalk Queen' delivers non-stop elegance with low-maintenance ease. Bees and butterflies adore her — and who can blame them?

  • 10-12 inches tall and 18-20 inches wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 3-8, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 18-20 inches apart for best results
  • Produces exceptionally large, fragrant, lavender-blue flower spikes from early summer through fall

Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant food in spring and mid-summer. Shearing the plant back in the springtime will promote more compact growth. In addition, cutting plants back by half after their first bloom tends to stimulate a second bloom cycle.
