Bright Lights™ Pink features a neat, sturdy mounded habit designed specifically to keep its heavy, cheerful blossoms held high above the foliage for maximum visual impact. Unlike older African daisy varieties that go out of bloom during hot summer weather, the Bright Lights™ series is bred to power through summer heat, providing continuous flowering and fresh color when other plants fade. Its cheerful petals are a reliable, high-impact choice for sunny borders, rock gardens, and patio containers.
- 8-12 inches tall and 8-12 inches wide at maturity
- Annual except in zones 9a-11b, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
- Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
- Space plants 48-60 inches apart for best results
- Produces pink flowers during planting to hard frost
- Maintains green foliage spring to frost
- Great for borders, containers, edges, landscapes, mass plantings
- Heat tolerant, long blooming, deadheading not necessary
Care: Bright Lights do not like having wet feet and will react badly to constantly wet soil. Be sure to allow the soil in containers to dry on top before watering and only plant in beds with good drainage. While it shouldn't be necessary you can trim your plants at any time. A yearly application of fertilizer or compost on garden beds and regular fertilization of plants in pots will help ensure the best possible performance.
