Bright Lights™ Horizon™ Sunset African Daisy is aptly named, drawing from the soft purple petals that slowly fade into a peachy-orange as they reach outward. It does well in hot areas, and is a great choice for both planters and the landscape.

Plant Powered Packaging by Proven Winners®: Introducing the full annual Eco+Grande collection! The Eco+Grande is a game changing Plant Container made from plants!  This compostable container is made from starchy renewable plants like corn, switch grass and sugar beets grown in the United States. The Eco+Grande has nutrients built into the wall of the container that helps plants grow bigger and faster all season, if planted in the ground. When the Proven Winners Eco+Grande container is discarded in the garbage can, it will naturally break down faster in a landfill than a traditional petroleum made container. The container will get smaller and smaller until microbes consume it, turning it back into an inert organic product.

Care: Deadheading not necessary for continuous bloom. Plants will "bury their dead" (new flowers will quickly cover old flowers) so no deadheading necessary. Bright Lights Osteospermum do not like having wet feet and will react badly to constantly wet soil. Be sure to allow soil in containers to get dry on top before watering and only plant Bright Lights in ground beds with good drainage.

While it shouldn't be necessary you can trim your plants with a sharp pair of scissors or pruning shears at any time.A yearly application of fertilizer or compost on garden beds and regular fertilization of plants in pots will help ensure the best possible performance.
