Blue My Mind® is a striking annual that features vibrant, true blue flowers paired with silvery-green foliage, creating a stunning contrast in any setting. This heat-tolerant beauty thrives in a variety of conditions and requires little care, as it does not need deadheading to keep blooming. Perfect for containers, mixed plantings, or as a focal point in the landscape, Blue My Mind® adds a splash of color and texture to gardens, patios, and balconies. Its versatility and low-maintenance nature make it a must-have for any gardener looking to brighten up their space with ease.

  • 4-8 inches tall and 8-16 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zones 9-11
  • Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 8-12 inches apart for best results
  • Produces true blue flowers from planting to hard frost
  • Maintains fuzzy, silvery-green foliage spring through frost
  • Great for container, edging, groundcover, landscapes, mass plantings
  • Heat tolerant, deadheading not necessary, long blooming

The Eco+Grande features nutrients embedded in the container walls, which help plants grow bigger and faster throughout the season when planted in the ground. Be sure to remove the tabs from the container before planting. If you choose to plant in a container, we recommend taking the plant out of the Eco+Grande, breaking it apart, and mixing it into the soil at the time of planting. When the Proven Winners Eco+Grande container is discarded in the garbage can, it will naturally break down faster in a landfill than a traditional petroleum made container. The container will get smaller and smaller until microbes consume it, turning it back into an inert organic product. Learn more about this in our blog

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Plants do need to be watered well for several weeks during root establishment. While the plants can withstand drought conditions, growth and flowering are better with consistent moisture. Deadheading is unnecessary.

They look so pretty with the dipladenia in my cobalt blue planter. In early June I bought one plant at Home Depot and will be looking for these next year too.

5 weeks later, one died in the third week, the other has one branch with flowers. I planted them as directed in the pot, pulled the bottom out. Do not recommend

Although the few flowers that bloom have great coloring, they are far and few between blooms.
