Dressed Up® 'Evening Gown' Coral Bells (Heuchera hybrid)

Please Note: Our Ships Now perennials will currently ship dormant. The foliage and blooms begin to brown and die back. We provide a hard trim in the greenhouse to support this process. During dormancy, plants go inactive to conserve their energy for the next growing season. This happens naturally as seasons change!

Dressed Up® 'Evening Gown' Coral Bells is a stunning perennial that adds remarkable texture and elegance to any landscape or container. Its huge 6-inch glossy black leaves with ruffled margins form a substantial, mounded habit that creates a striking visual impact. The best color and performance are achieved in part shade, where the deep, dramatic foliage truly shines. Tall flower scapes rise above the foliage, holding pink buds that open into delicate white flowers, providing a soft contrast to the dark leaves. With its low, mounding habit, 'Evening Gown' is perfect for edging along paths or enhancing containers, and the tall flower scapes make beautiful additions to fresh bouquets.

Our perennial plants are entering their natural dormancy phase. As part of this process, foliage and blooms are browning and dying back—this is completely normal! We give the plants a hard trim in our greenhouse to support them as they conserve energy for the next growing season. Rest assured, your perennials will wake up and thrive again when it's time in your growing zone. Dormancy is how they prepare for a healthy, vibrant comeback as the seasons change!

Care: Trim back tattered foliage in early spring. Fertilize with Proven Winners® Continuous Release Fertilizer in the spring.
