Introducing Sweet Caroline Medusa™ Green, a truly unique and eye-catching addition to your garden. This stunning sweet potato vine features crown-shaped, multi-fingered foliage that sets it apart from traditional varieties. Its distinctive, sculptural leaves offer a fresh, exciting twist on the classic sweet potato vine look, bringing a fun and dynamic element to your plant combinations. With excellent heat tolerance and vigorous growth, Medusa™ Green thrives even in the hottest of summers, maintaining its vibrant green color throughout the season. Unlike other trailing varieties, this plant has a more mounded growth habit with overlapping leaves, adding fullness and structure to your containers, hanging baskets, or garden beds. Its bold, unique appearance and impressive resilience make it the perfect foliage component to elevate any arrangement.
  • 6-12 inches tall and 18-30 inches wide at maturity
  • Annual except in zone 11
  • Plant in Part Sun (4-6 Hours) to Full Sun (6+ Hours)
  • Space plants 12-18 inches apart for best results
  • Maintains vibrant green foliage spring to frost
  • Great for containers, groundcover, landscapes, mass plantings
  • Foliage interest, heat tolerant, deadheading not necessary

The Eco+Grande features nutrients embedded in the container walls, which help plants grow bigger and faster throughout the season when planted in the ground. Be sure to remove the tabs from the container before planting. If you choose to plant in a container, we recommend taking the plant out of the Eco+Grande, breaking it apart, and mixing it into the soil at the time of planting. When the Proven Winners Eco+Grande container is discarded in the garbage can, it will naturally break down faster in a landfill than a traditional petroleum made container. The container will get smaller and smaller until microbes consume it, turning it back into an inert organic product. Learn more about this in our blog.

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Prune to shape as desired throughout the season.
