These plants need extra time to start pushing out new growth. Some may not show signs of life until early June in cold climates, so they need an extra-long grace period. And remember, just because these plants take longer to show their glorious faces, it doesn’t mean they’re not going to put on a stellar show! They just need longer days and warmer temperatures to prepare themselves for their audience.
