Invincibelle Wee White® Smooth Hydrangea (Arborescens)

Our shrubs are currently going dormant. The foliage is turning colors, drying out, and falling off. During dormancy, plants go inactive to conserve their energy for the next growing season. This happens naturally as seasons change!

Invincibelle Wee White blooms emerge soft, blush pink before changing to white. Blooms are held up on a strong, supportive stem for a display that looks more like a bouquet of flowers than a landscape plant. Blooming begins in early summer and continues through frost, with new flowers appearing the whole time.

  • 1-2.5 feet tall and wide at maturity
  • Grow in zones 3-8
  • Plant in partial to full sun in northern climates and part sun (4+ hours daily) in southern climates.

Our deciduous shrubs are entering their natural dormancy phase. As part of this process, foliage is turning colors, drying out, and falling off—this is completely normal! Shedding leaves helps the plants conserve energy and prepare for the next growing season. Rest assured, your shrubs will wake up and thrive again when it's time in your growing zone. Dormancy is how they prepare for a healthy, vibrant comeback as the seasons change!

Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant food in spring and mid-summer. Cut the whole plant back by about one-third of its total height each spring, just as the new growth begins to appear on the stems.

Excellent!

I probably purchased roughly 15 plants from Proven Winners Direct this growing season. I will gladly confirm that they all arrived extremely healthy and well packed.
