Little Quick Fire® is a dwarf form of Quick Fire® hydrangea. It is just as early-blooming, but about one third of the size. Its blooms begin white and change to burgundy pink over a short time, giving the late summer garden a true jewel to marvel at. Flowering about a month earlier than other panicles and with the best fall foliage color of any panicle hydrangea, it lengthens the hydrangea season for any garden! This makes it an easy choice for foundation plantings, where its full habit softens the straight lines of a home, and its blooms provide long-lasting dazzling beauty.
Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. Prefers well-drained soil that does not remain soggy for any amount of time. To prune, simply cut back by one-third of its total height every spring, just as new growth begins to emerge on stems. Make cuts just about 1/4 of an inch above a bud. Dead or damaged wood can be removed at any time.
Shipping Info:
Arrived looking suspect, but was told they're fine. We'll see.
Thank you for sharing your review. Yes, your Hydrangeas will be just fine. What you are seeing on the leaves is old insect damage, it is very common for this time of year. After you trim them in late winter/early spring, the new growth will be beautiful new green leaves.😊
Sincerely,
PWD Team
The hydrangea was a gift for my mom.
I'm disappointed in how it arrived. The leaves were burnt and a couple branches were broke.
