The Pink Chiffon® Rose of Sharon captivates with its lacy, double blooms in a delicate shade of pale pink, accentuated by striking magenta streaks that burst from the ruffled centers. Throughout the summer, long, whimsical branches are adorned with these eye-catching flowers and dark pink buds, creating a continuous, colorful display. Known for its tough landscape performance and upright habit, this plant is perfect for hedging or as a specimen plant. Its elegant yet resilient nature makes it an ideal choice for adding beauty and charm to your garden with minimal effort.

  • 8-12 feet tall and 4-6 feet wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 5-9, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 4-6 feet apart for best results
  • Produces double pink flowers throughout summer
  • Maintains green foliage spring to frost
  • Blooms on new wood
  • Great for borders, containers, screening, landscape, mass planting or as a focal point
  • Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds while resisting deer
  • Heat, drought and salt tolerant, long blooming, low maintenance

Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. Requires well-draining soil. Regular pruning is not necessary. If any shaping is desired, do so in early spring. Note that Rose of Sharon is quite late to leaf out in spring, so be patient with it.
