Please note: Our Ships Now shrubs are still waking up from dormancy! In the spring, shrubs begin to emerge from dormancy with swelling buds and potentially new growth as temperatures rise and daylight hours increase. Bobo hydrangea is engulfed by large white flowers beginning in summer. As the blooms age going into fall, they turn a lovely pink shade. These flowers are held upright on strong stems and continue to grow and lengthen as they bloom - no flopping over! This variety is compact, and the flowers cover every inch of the plant right down to the ground, making it a great addition in both the landscape and container gardens.

  • 2.5-3 feet tall and wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 3-8, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in part sun (4+ hours daily) in southern climates and part to full sun in northern climates
  • Space plants 3 feet apart for best results
  • Produces large white flowers throughout summer aging to pink in fall
  • Maintains green foliage spring to frost
  • Blooms on new wood
  • Great for containers, landscapes
  • Dwarf variety, long blooming, fall interest

Please note: Our Ships Now shrubs are still waking up from dormancy! In the spring, shrubs begin to emerge from dormancy with swelling buds and potentially new growth as temperatures rise and daylight hours increase. Most dormant shrubs start leafing out in April, depending on the specific plant and local weather conditions.

Care:  Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. Prefers well-drained soil that does not remain soggy for any amount of time. To prune, simply cut back by one-third of its total height every spring, just as new growth begins to emerge on stems. Make cuts just about 1/4 of an inch above a bud. Dead or damaged wood can be removed at any time.

The hydrangea arrived looking good, somewhat small- but evenly leafed out with some new growth all over . I have high hopes that it will thrive in its very sunny spot in the middle of my cottage-style border.

I ordered 1 of these in the quart size. I don't mind being patient about giving plants the time to grow. Plus you don't have to dig a large hole to plant them. Bobo was received healthy and seems to be doing well. I have since purchased over a dozen more shrubs. All received healthy. Highly recommend Proven Winners.

Small, bur full for it's size. I repotted it in a larger pot so I can make it through til Spring. I hope to have my flower beds/landscaping in then. It is hard to find some of the varieties here are the local nurseries. Since Proven Winners has a year guarantee, I feel confident buying them online. I hope to have my flower beds/landscaping in then.
