Our shrubs are currently going dormant. The foliage is turning colors, drying out, and falling off. During dormancy, plants go inactive to conserve their energy for the next growing season. This happens naturally as seasons change!

Tiny Quick Fire® Panicle Hydrangea (Paniculata) by Proven Winners®

Let us introduce the dwarf form of the ever-popular Quick Fire hydrangea: Tiny Quick Fire Panicle Hydrangea! The new Tiny Quick Fire™ is the smallest, most versatile hydrangea that is perfect for planting around the border of your garden landscapes, or in drifts.

Like other Quick Fire varieties, this cute, compact shrub blooms early with showy, white flowers that age to an attractive red/pink. It also attracts pollinators, is drought tolerant, and can be planted in the landscape or containers gardens.

  • 1.5-3 feet tall and 2-3 feet wide at maturity
  • Grow in zones 3-8
  • Plant in part to full sun in northern climates and part sun (4+ hours daily) in southern climates.

Our deciduous shrubs are entering their natural dormancy phase. As part of this process, foliage is turning colors, drying out, and falling off—this is completely normal! Shedding leaves helps the plants conserve energy and prepare for the next growing season. Rest assured, your shrubs will wake up and thrive again when it's time in your growing zone. Dormancy is how they prepare for a healthy, vibrant comeback as the seasons change!

Care: Prune about one-third of the total height in early spring. Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer.
