Pinky Winky produces large white panicles that open in mid to late summer. As summer turns to fall the florets at the base of the panicles turn pink. The flower panicles continue to grow, producing new white florets at the tip. The result is spectacular two-toned flower panicles that can reach up to 16 inches in length!
- 6-8 feet tall and wide at maturity
- Grow in zones 3-8
- Plant in partial sun (4+ hours daily) in southern climates and partial to full sun in northern climates.
Our deciduous shrubs are entering their natural dormancy phase. As part of this process, foliage is turning colors, drying out, and falling off—this is completely normal! Shedding leaves helps the plants conserve energy and prepare for the next growing season. Rest assured, your shrubs will wake up and thrive again when it's time in your growing zone. Dormancy is how they prepare for a healthy, vibrant comeback as the seasons change!
Care: It can be easily maintained as a smaller plant or trained into a small tree. Prune in late winter/early spring. Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer.
