Wine & Roses® Weigela displays rosy pink flowers in late spring and will rebloom in summer on rich dark purple foliage that provides a high impact backdrop throughout the season in any garden. This weigela resists deer and attracts hummingbirds and butterflies with it's trumpet-like flowers. It's also fast growing and low maintenance, making it an easy choice for season-long color.

  • 4-5 feet tall and wide at maturity
  • Hardy in zones 4-8, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success
  • Plant in full sun (6+ hours daily)
  • Space plants 5-6 feet apart for best results
  • Maintains black and purple foliage spring through frost
  • Produces pink flowers in early spring through late spring

Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. Prefers well-drained soils but is fairly adaptable to other soil types. If desired, prune immediately after the spring bloom.
