Please note: Our Ships Now perennials are still waking up from dormancy. In the spring, as temperatures rise and daylight hours increase, perennials begin to emerge from dormancy, pushing new shoots from their roots. Dressed Up Ball Gown has large, heavily ruffled leaves, creamy white flowers, and excellent landscape performance. However, this plant should not be limited to only the garden bed as it has excellent presence in both mixed and mono containers. Ensure good drainage for the best performance. Coral bells are easy to grow and blend easily with most other perennials in the landscape. Because of their low, mounding habit, they are often used as edging along paths or in containers. Try cutting a few of the tall flower scapes for fresh bouquets!

  • 10-12 inches tall and 24-28 inches wide at maturity
  • Scape height 26-30 inches
  • Hardy in zones 4-9, be sure to check your USDA zone to ensure success

  • Space plants 24-28 inches apart for best results
  • Produces creamy white flowers mid summer
  • Maintains ruffled chartreuse foliage spring through hard frost, evergreen where winters are mild
  • Great for borders, containers, edges, landscapes, mass planting and as a focal point
  • Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds
  • Native to North America, salt tolerant, fall and winter interest
