Let's Dance Can Do!® Reblooming Hydrangea (Macrophylla x Serrata)

Our shrubs are currently going dormant. The foliage is turning colors, drying out, and falling off. During dormancy, plants go inactive to conserve their energy for the next growing season. This happens naturally as seasons change!

Let's Dance Can Do! has luscious strawberry pink flowers in neutral/alkaline soils and a lovely lavender in acidic soil. It has the unique ability to create flower buds along the entire length of the stem instead of only at the top like other big-leaf hydrangeas. It also reblooms quicker than others all summer. Big-leaf hydrangeas are versatile garden plants for anywhere you need some summer color.

  • 3-4 feet tall and wide at maturity
  • Grow in zones 5-9
  • Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours)

Our deciduous shrubs are entering their natural dormancy phase. As part of this process, foliage is turning colors, drying out, and falling off—this is completely normal! Shedding leaves helps the plants conserve energy and prepare for the next growing season. Rest assured, your shrubs will wake up and thrive again when it's time in your growing zone. Dormancy is how they prepare for a healthy, vibrant comeback as the seasons change!

Care: Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer. It's best left unpruned except to remove any dead wood in spring, once the new growth has emerged.
