  • Space plants 8-12 inches apart for best results
  • Produces double orange flowers from planting to hard frost
  • Maintains green foliage spring through frost
  • Great for containers and hanging baskets
  • Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds
  • Heat and drought tolerant, long blooming, fall interest, low maintenance, deadheading not required

The Eco+Grande features nutrients embedded in the container walls, which help plants grow bigger and faster throughout the season when planted in the ground. Be sure to remove the tabs from the container before planting. If you choose to plant in a container, we recommend taking the plant out of the Eco+Grande, breaking it apart, and mixing it into the soil at the time of planting. When the Proven Winners Eco+Grande container is discarded in the garbage can, it will naturally break down faster in a landfill than a traditional petroleum made container. The container will get smaller and smaller until microbes consume it, turning it back into an inert organic product. Learn more about this in our blog.

Care: Fertilize weekly with Proven Winners Water Soluble Plant Food for best performance. Pruning is not necessary but will help increase branching and may help your plants look even fuller.

Calibrachoa do not like to have constantly damp soil because it can lead to root rot diseases. They will do well in the ground or raised beds with good drainage. For most gardeners containers are the best use for Calibrachoa, let the top few inches of soil dry before watering again.

I'm disappointed in myself. I live in WI so I should have known better. I wanted to replace my pretty pink flowers in pots for fall colored flowers. I ordered the Superbells® Double Orange (Calibrachoa) and the purple superbells. The double orange died 2 days after arriving and the purple are limping along. I don't know what I was thinking...annuals that are shipped in fall are not going to be full and lush for display in Sept. even if the temperatures are above normal. I guess I'll have to stick with mums. I've learned my lesson, it's all about timing.

Loved all the orange colors because they match the beige tones in the exterior colors of my home. I'm hoping since they have survived summer they will hang on until the first frost probably next month.
