- 2-3 ft tall and 3-4 ft wide at maturity
- Grow in zones 3-7
- Plant in part to full sun (4+ hours daily)
Our perennial plants are entering their natural dormancy phase. As part of this process, foliage and blooms are browning and dying back—this is completely normal! We give the plants a hard trim in our greenhouse to support them as they conserve energy for the next growing season. Rest assured, your perennials will wake up and thrive again when it's time in your growing zone. Dormancy is how they prepare for a healthy, vibrant comeback as the seasons change!
Care: Best in full sun or light shade, keep base and roots completely shaded. Grow in average, well-drained, slightly alkaline soil. Use mulch to keep the soil moist. Each spring, they can be trimmed down to 3-4” tall. New shoots should emerge from the crown beneath the soil. Fertilize with Proven Winners Continuous Release Plant Food in spring and mid-summer.
